Creepshow Season 3 Blu-ray comes in a 2 disc amaray case with swing tray.

The Cover art and disc art follow the same Comic Book style of seasons 1 & 2, however the menu on this one is a static screen.

There’s less exciting extras on this one, which is signposted by the “Includes over an hour of bonus content” on the cover.

Luckily, the series is worth adding to your Blu-ray collection whether there’s extra features or not.

The Episodes included across the two discs are

Ethan Embry as Hank – Creepshow _ Season 3, Episode 1 – Photo Credit: Curtis Baker/Shudder

Mums/Queen Bee

In Mums, Jack’s mother is taken from him, but Mother earth has a way of taking care of her own kind.

In Queen Bee three teens find out their favourite popstar’s not at all what they imagined. Body horror, giant bugs, decent effects. Nice!

Andrew Bachelor as Jackson – Creepshow _ Season 3, Episode 4 – Photo Credit: Josh Stringer/Shudder

Skeletons in the Closet/Familiar

In Skeletons a movie buff opens a prop museum, but a rival collector could put everything at risk. Reminiscent of a story from The House That Dripped Blood. Some nice nods to other things in this one, Harryhausen, Psycho etc but it’s a little heavy on the cheese.

In Familiar, Jackson is being followed by a dark force, but will his attempts to rid himself of it work? Being told to “Google it” about a sacred circle is a high point in this 😀 Decent episode but becomes fairly obvious how it’s going to end.

The Last Tsuburaya/Okay, I’ll Bite!

The Last Tsuburaya” is a love letter to the world of Japanese monster movies. An art collector could never have anticipated the ways a terrifying painting would change his life. This episode pays homage to the genre with a fun and nostalgic storyline, complete with demonic beings and an entertaining plot twist.

In Okay, I’ll Bite Elmer’s pet spiders always have his back. Have to say, not one for the arachnophobes. The ending’s actually pretty disturbing.

Stranger Sings/Meter Reader

In Stranger sings a siren lures a doctor into her trap to carry out a diabolical plan. Good episode this one with some superb make up effects.

In Meter Reader a teenage girl must fight off a demonic plague when she realises her family might be infected. Nice little possession stuff in this, nods to Evil Dead and The Exorcist.

Time Out/The Things in Oakwood’s Past

In Time Out Tim always wished he could have more time in the day. He gets his wish with a wardrobe that time slows down when he’s inside. What will happen if he drops the key though? The ending’s pretty grimm, poor kid 😀

In an animated episode, The Things in Oakwood’s Past a town digs up a time capsule that holds a dark secret. Nice animation, fun story.

Drug Traffic/A Dead Girl Named Sue

In Drug Traffic a family is detained, and a young girl’s distressing symptoms quickly escalate without her medication. This is a superb story with some great effects and it’s pretty twisted.

A Dead Girl Named Sue sees the dead rise from their graves, townspeople take justice into their own hands. Black and White episode, an homage to Night of the Living Dead.

Creepshow Season 3 continues to deliver a mix of horror, humour, and homage to classic genre tropes. Each episode offers something unique, making it a worthwhile watch for fans of anthology horror series but I’m not sure it lives up to the earlier seasons.
