Get a Load of Bull
Bull gets the Limited Edition Blu-ray treatment, from Second Sight Films this September.
British acting great Neil Maskell (Kill List, Wild Bill) puts the fear of God into those that destroyed his family, in the wickedly twisted, brutal, anxiety inducing Bull, from writer/director Paul Andrew Williams (The Cottage, Cherry Tree Lane).
‘Savage storytelling and compelling performances take Paul Andrew Williams’ revenge movie into another league… his finest cinema work since his debut… thrilling and utterly terrifying’
The Guardian
Bull is a quintessentially British revenge thriller, with fantastic performances throughout. Neil Maskell is the titular “Bull” a man you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley, returning home after 10 years away to seek revenge on the people who did him wrong.
As the film progresses we see through flashbacks exactly why he is seeking revenge, has a family trip to the fair with his son Aiden played by Henri Charles (Eastenders) ended in tragedy at the hands of the crime family he was once a part of?
‘Packs a mighty punch… Paul Andrew Williams and Neil Maskell breathe new life into a familiar one-man-army scenario. Unrelenting, no-nonsense and hard-as-nails’
Empire
Eventually we are given the whole story, involving a motley bunch of Bull’s former “crew” who are all working for the patriarch Norm, played brilliantly by David Hayman (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas)
A really well paced film, this one will keep you on the edge of your seat until its shocking climax.
Bull’s increasingly violent revenge rampage is like Dead Man’s Shoes meets Halloween with Bull being an unstoppable killing machine.
‘An effective, savage revenge thriller… Maskell is as dependable as ever, masterfully going up through the gears of rage’
