Wrestling-Fueled Horror-Comedy HERE FOR BLOOD Invades Theaters, Digital, & SCREAMBOX February 9

Tom O’Bannon (Shawn Roberts) is a down on his luck wrestler. Getting ripped off by promoters, earning no money while his girlfriend studies. She needs to finish a project, so he agrees to cover her regular babysitting job for her.

He goes round and the family is a little odd, the girl seems a bit Twilight Zone.

Things spiral out of control pretty quick when a gang of mask wearing crazies invade the house.

Luckily enough, being a massive wrestler has its advantages and Tom doesn’t take the invasion sitting down.

This film has everything you want from a daft horror caper, blood, gore, talking skulls and demon worshipping cults. The film is straight out of the direct to video bin at your early 90’s video store and is all the better for it. Doesn’t take itself too seriously, has decent performances from everyone in it and the story clips along at a decent pace.

Get your pizza and cookies ready and settle down for a night of fun entertainment as Here For Blood pile-drives into your eyeballs.

The Resident Evil franchise’s Shawn Roberts stars as the besieged babysitter, while Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider lends his legendary voice to a decapitated skull. Maya Misaljevic (The Boys), Joelle Farrow, Tara Spencer-Nairn, and Michael Therriault (Chucky) co-star.

Directed by Daniel Turres and written by James Roberts, Here for Blood body-slammed audiences on the festival circuit. It won six awards at its Toronto After Dark premiere, including “Best Film to Watch with a Crowd,” and went on to play FrightFest (Glasgow and London), IFI Horrorthon (Ireland), and Ramaskrik (Norway).
