Lego a me again!

So, after around 20 minutes wait, the update had finally completed so I started the game. Graphically it’s exactly what we’ve come to expect from Telltale Game’s Lego series, and the humour is there from the beginning. So far so good.
Here’s the opening (spoiler alert if you don’t want to see the opening)

After around 15 minutes playing, in which you have to physically move the minifigs on the portal board to solve colour puzzles.
The game then stops and asks you to build the main portal from lego.
This was absolutely great, it really made the build different. The instruction manual is on screen and you follow along until you have built this.
I wish I could go back to myself as a child and have had stuff like this to play with.
Or just go back and let myself know, in the future, everything is awesome.
It then asks you to build the Batmobile and writes the data to the chip in the plastic base, so the game will now know that is the Batmobile.
You then jump into the portal and the game is underway.I’m really looking forward to getting more into the game, I think they have got it about right, actually having to move the minifies and interact with the portal means it’s not just an annoying dust collector.
It took me about 15 minutes to build the portal. If you have bought this for your kids, or you are going to. Don’t just give it to them, get involved. Pour all that Lego onto the floor, ignore your creaking joints as you lie down in front of the telly with your kids and help them build the thing. If you haven’t got a smile on your face the entire time, there’s something wrong with you.
